Mixtures are combination of two or more substances physically which can be separated in to the original.

Matter can be breakdown into two categories. 

1) Pure substances 

2) Mixtures

Here in the given options, options A, B, C are pure substances as they are indicated as S & L in brackets. Option D) is an aqueous solution, that can be dissolved in water.

kl>k+1l+1 for (k,l) > 0 and  k > l 

Let     k = x+1    and   l = x

Therefore, x+1x>(x+1)+1(x)+1

 (x + 1) > x

Therefore, log(x+1)log(x)>log(x+2)log(x+1)

⇒logxx+1 >logx+1x+2

Let the inner and outer radii be r and R metres.

Then  2πR=3527=>R=3527*722*12=8m 

 2πR=5287=>R=5287*722*12=12m

=> Width of the ring = (R - r) = (12 - 8) m = 4 m.

Let the distance in one direction = k kms

Speed in still water = 4.5 kmph

Speed of river = 1.5

Hence, speed in upstream = 4.5 - 1.5 = 3 kmph

Speed in downstream = 4.5 + 1.5 = 6 kmph

Time taken by Rajesh to row upwards = k/3 hrs

Time taken by Rajesh to row downwards = k/6 hrs

Now, required Average speed =$$\begin{gathered} Total distanceTotal speed = 2kk3 + k6 \\ = 2k x 186k + 3k = 4 kmph \end{gathered}$$ 

Therefore, the average speed of the whole journey = 4kmph.

Here it is asked that 3 is what percent of 5

Let 3 is K percent of 5.

=> K x 5/100 = 3

=> K = 300/5 = 60

Hence, 3 is 60% of 5.
