Clearly, we may mark such sets of 3 numbers, in which the middle number is 8 and each of the two numbers on both sides of it is a factor of 8, as shown below :

A group of eight bits is called as a byte and that of 4 bits is called as a nibble.

It is given train X leave station A at 6:30 am, here it is asked to calculate the distance from A when the trains meet, the
Distance traveled by train left at 6:30 am upto 7:40 am i.e. in 1 hr. 10 min. or 7/6 hours = 30 x 7/6 = 35 km
So train leaving at 7:40 am will meet first train after covering a distance of 35 km. with relative speed of 40-30=10 km/hr.
Hence time taken = 35/10 = 3.5 hours or 3 hours 30 minutes
So distance from A = Distance traveled by 2nd train in 3 hr. 30 min
= 40 x 3.5 = 140 km.

Distance travelled by Ramu = 45 x 4 = 180 km

Somu travelled the same distance in 6 hours.

His speed = 180/6 = 30 km/hr

Hence in the conditional case, Ramu's speed = 45 - 9 = 36 km/hr and Somu's speed = 30 + 10 = 40km/hr.

Therefore travel time of Ramu and Somu would be 5 hours and 4.5 hours respectively.

Hence difference in the time taken = 0.5 hours = 30 minutes.
