Given a x a = 12

asked to find a x a x a x a =  (a x a) x (a x a)

a⁴ = a² x a² 

= 12 x 12

= 144.

Compounded Ratio :: When we compound two or more ratio's with each other through product or multiplication, the result is simply a compound ratio.

Thus, the product of two or more ratios; i.e, ab:cd is a ratio compounded of the simple ratios a:c and b:d.

Required compounded ratio = (2/3 x 6/11 x 11/2) = 2/1. 

The given series follows the pattern that,

×5+5,   ×5+5,   ×5+5,   ×5+5,   ×5+5

38 x 5 + 5  = 195

195 x 5 + 5 = 980

980 x 5 + 5 = 4905

4905 x 5 + 5 = 24530

24530 x 5 + 5 = 122655

So the missing number is 980 .

The given number series follows a pattern that,

$$\begin{gathered} 19 + 12 = 20 (not 21) \\ 20 + 22 = 24 \\ 24 + 32 = 33 \\ 33 + 42 = 49 \\ 49 + 52 = 74 \end{gathered}$$

Hence, the odd number in the given number series is 21.

A biped is an animal that uses two legs for walking and the quadrupeds are animals that use four legs for walking.

From the Given options, Cat only have 4 legs.

So Biped : Quadruped :: Ostrich : Cat.

The above given sequence follows a pattern that,

40% of 650 ÷13 = 45 - ?
