Given Circumference of a circular base of a cylinder = 44 cm

We know that Circumference of a circle = $$\begin{gathered} 2πr = 44 \\ ⇒r = 22π \end{gathered}$$

Now given the height of a cylinder h = 15 cm

Volume of a cylinder V = πr2h = π22π215 = 22 x 22 x 153.14 = 2311 cm3.

Let the cost price of 1 article = Rs. 1

From the given data,

Then, the selling price of 1 article = 22/18 = 11/9

Then, Profit = SP - CP = 11/9 - 1 = 2/9

Required, profit % = Profit/CP x 100

= [(2/9)/1] x 100

= 200/9

= 22.222%.

Let the total number of pages in the book be 'x'.

From given data,

2x/5 + 34x/100 + 52 + 52 = x

 => 40x + 34x + 10400 = 100x

 => 26x = 10400

 => x = 400.

 Hence, total pages in the book are 400.

Q = 50% of 110 = 55
R = 60% of 110 = 60 x 110/100 = 66
M = 12.5 + 49.5 = 62 or 66 - 4 = 62
