There are 8 different types of Soils present in India. They are primarily differentiated on the basis of composition and structure. They are ::

1.  Alluvial soils, 

2.  Black soils,

3.  Red soils,

4.  Laterite and Lateritic soils,

5.  Forest and Mountain soils,

6.  Arid and Desert soils,

7.  Saline and Alkaline soils and

8.  Peaty and Marshy soils.

A clipboard is a temporary storage area for items that the user wants to cut or copy from one place to another.

For example, in a word processor application, the user might want to cut text from one part of a document and paste it in another part of the document or somewhere else, it is temporarily stored in clipboard.

SIM is Set Interrupt Mask. Used to mask the hardware interrupts.

RIM is Read Interrupt Mask. Used to check whether the interrupt is Masked or not.
