Exodusters migrate to Kansas and other western states as part of the Exoduster Movement or Exodus of 1879. It was the first general migration of black people following the Civil War.

Exodusters was a name given to African Americans who migrated from states along the Mississippi River to Kansas in the late nineteenth century.

The origin of the Sutlej River is located close to Lake Rakhastal in Tibet in the vicinity of the Kailash Mountain Range. The Sutlej River usually runs according to a west to southwest itinerary moving into India via the Shipki La Pass located in Himachal Pradesh.

Ilbert  Bill  was  introduced  in  1883 by  Viceroy  Ripon.  It  proposed  to grant  limited  criminal  jurisdiction to  native  officials  over  European British    subjects    living    in    the districts under their charge.It also allowed Indian judges and magistrates  the  jurisdiction  to  try British  offenders  in  criminal  cases. After opposition from Europeans in Britain as well as India, the bill was withdrawn  and  reintroduced  after amendment  saying  that  a  jury  of 50%  Europeans  was  required  if  an Indian    judge    was    to    face    a European.
