The given words to be placed in a logical sequence. Here if you want to swith on a light or fan in a room, the sequence you follow must be like

Key,

Lock ,

Door,

Room, Swith on.

Take the key and open the lock of a door in a room and then swith on.

Given Number series is :

3   4   14   48   576   27648

It follows a pattern that,

4 x 3 = 12   but not 14

12 x 4 = 48

48 x 12 = 576

576 x 48 = 27648

Hence, the odd one in the given Number Series is 14.

The given number series is

   +17    +25       +37      +53        +74

        +8      +12        +16       +21

            +4          +4         +5

The series should be  71  88  112   150    203   276 i.e, the differences of the difference should be +4.

Hence, the odd man in the given series is 277.

2.5 × 1 + 1 = 3.5

3.5 × 2 + 2 = 9

9 × 4 + 4 = 40

40 × 8 + 8 = 328

a. gives, S.I = Rs. 9000 and time = 9 years.

b. gives, Sum + S.I for 6 years = 2 x Sum

--> Sum = S.I for 6 years.

Now, S.I for 9 years = Rs. 9000

S.I for 1 year = Rs. 9000/9 = Rs. 1000.

S.I for 6 years = Rs. (1000 x 6)= Rs. 6000.

--> x = Rs. 6000

The working principle of a washing machine is centrifugation.

Hence, number of animals going towards river are 1 rabbit, 2 monkeys and 2 tortoice

= 1 + 2 + 2

= 5.
