The water rise in a capillary tube dipped in water is such that the weight of water in the tube above the surface of water in the vessel is equal to (balances) the upward force due to surface tension. So it is clear that if the the bore (radius) to the tube is decreased, the height of the water column in it must be greater.  So, (a) is correct.

The Opium Wars were two wars in the mid-19th century involving Anglo-Chinese disputes over British trade in China and China’s sovereignty. The disputes included the First Opium War (1839–1842) and the Second Opium War (1856–1860).

In a cached system, the base addresses of the last few referenced pages is maintained in registers called the TLB that aids in faster lookup. TLB contains those page-table entries that have been most recently used. Normally, each virtual memory reference causes 2 physical memory accesses- one to fetch appropriate page-table entry, and one to fetch the desired data. Using TLB in-between, this is reduced to just one physical memory access in cases of TLB-hit.
