To answer this question, focus on honesty and positivity in order to show that you have both self-confidence and humility. Show the interviewer that you understand that there are different types of people and personalities and that all are valuable in their own way. Choose traits that are unreachable, such as perfection, and then emphasize your well-rounded personality and ability to learn from mistakes.

The interviewer is looking for similar things whether asking about company or position. The interviewer wants to :

- Learn about your career goals and how this position fits into your plan.

- Make sure that you are sincerely interested in the job and will be motivated to perform if hired.

- Find out what you know about the company, industry, position.

- Understand your priorities and preferences.

This depends on several factors. Different Individuals have different answers for it.
You can answer as - " I will most likely be involved in a different but still related career path; something to do with the creative side. If I were to start over I would attempt to get myself to specialize in one area as a young man. It’s very interesting to follow one’s interests all at the same time, but you don’t get anywhere very quickly this way. By pursuing lots of interests all at the same time, it takes a long, long time to acquire professional level skills."

When an interviewer asks "What do you do to improve your knowledge", because it reflects the major thought process of a person and the way a person gains knowledge and the level to which one is accustomed to the current happenings in the world.

In my sense knowledge is not very much obtained through books or any websites. We can give some exercise to the brain so that we can gain knowledge.


It is essential to update oneself in order to cope up with this competitive world. First of all you should keep yourself updated with the new technological developments so that if the interviewer asks something concerning the current affairs, you can answer them.You can say that you visit various forums, blogs to keep yourself updated and improve your knowledge. It will be helpful if you have experience of such forums or blogs from before so that you can create a better impression in the minds of the interviewers.

It is said that interacting with people of different ages, different communities and different education levels a person can fetch huge knowledge.

The qualities that a person need, to be independent are:

- Have a mind of your own.
- Have the confidence to challenge accepted wisdom when required.
- Can effectively work alone when necessary.
