DBMS :: Database Managemet System.

A DBMS which keeps its physical structure hidden from the user is known as a transparent DBMS.

In chemistry, the term transition metal has three possible meanings: The IUPAC definition defines a transition metal as "an element whose atom has a partially filled d sub-shell, or which can give rise to cations with an incomplete d sub-shell".

Any of the set of metallic elements occupying a central block (Groups IVB–VIII, IB, and IIB, or 4–12) in the periodic table, e.g. iron, manganese, chromium, and copper. Chemically they show variable valency and a strong tendency to form coordination compounds, and many of their compounds are coloured.

Here in the given options, only iron (Fe) is a transition metal since Strontium is an alkaline earth, arsenic is a metalloid, hydrogen is (normally) a diatomic gas.

Competition  occurs when two or more organisations act independently to supply their products to the same group of consumers.

There are mainly two cases when firms can compete. One is price where firms are selling identical or very similar products, they must compete on price with each firm trying to undercut the others. The other is differentiation. A non-price competition depends on making a product different from those of competitors and by giving it distinctive qualities that are valued by the target market. This might include branding, styling, special features or higher levels of customer service. Good competition provides more options to customers and also brings with it improved  customer services.

During daylight hours, plants capture carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and use it to make carbohydrates which is stored as starch in the plant. Animals feed on the plants and extract the carbohydrates through their digestive system. The carbohydrates, namely glucose, are used by the animals for production of ATP through cellular respiration.

Cellar respiration in the animals produces carbon dioxide as a waste product. The carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere, from where it is again captured by plants and the cycle is repeated.

Hence, option B) Plant ----> Animal ----> Atmosphere is the path possible in carbon cycle.
