The given number series is 8, 11, 19, 23, 32, ?

It follows a pattern that

8 + 11 = 19

11 + 12 = 23

19 + 13 = 32

23 + 14 = 37

32 + 15 = 47

....

Hence, the next number in the given series = 37.

A Bill becomes a Law; a Larva becomes an insect. (Or)

A Bill turns into a law; a Larva turns into an Insect.

Let the number of students in the class be 100 and let this required average be x.

Then, (10 * 95) + (20 * 90) + (70 * x) = (100 * 80)

=> 70x = 8000 - (950 + 1800) = 5250

=> x = 75.

34×(x-2)x=(x+7)(x-10)

⇒x2-6x-280 =0 

=> x= 20   and   x=-14

 so, the acceptable values is x=20 

Therefore, Total work =(x-2)x = 18 x 20 =360 unit

 Now   360 = 30 x k         

=> k=12 days

2(A+B+C)'s 1 day work = 1/30 + 1/24 + 1/20 = 1/8

=>(A+B+C)'s  1 day's work= 1/16

work done by A,B and C in 10 days=10/16 = 5/8

Remaining work= 3/8

A's 1 day's work= 116-124=148

Now, 1/48 work is done by A in 1 day.

 So, 3/8 work  wil be done by A in =48 x (3/8) = 18 days

Repetition of leap year ===> Add +28 to the Given Year.

Repetition of non leap year

Step 1 : Add +11 to the Given Year. If Result is a leap year, Go to step 2.

Step 2:  Add +6 to the Given Year.

Solution : 

Given Year is 1897, Which is a non leap year.

Step 1 : Add +11 to the given year (i.e 1897 + 11) = 1908, Which is a leap year. 

Step 2 : Add +6 to the given year (i.e 1897 + 6) = 1903

Therfore, The calendar of the year 1897 can be used again in the year 1903
