The Upanishads are a part of the Vedas and are ancient Sanskrit texts that contain some of the central philosophical concepts and ideas of Hinduism, some of which are shared with Buddhism, and Jainism.

The Upanishads are commonly referred to as Vedanta in the history of India.

Nuclear sizes are expressed in a unit called "Fermi" which is a unit of length equal to 10⁻¹⁵ metre (one femtometre), used in nuclear physics. It is similar to the diameter of a proton.

The point or place of origin of an earthquake is called Focus.

In India, Islamic rulers Qutb-ud-din Aibak imposed jizya on non-Muslims first time which was called kharaj-o-jizya. Jizya was abolished by the Mughal ruler Akbar in the 16th century but was re-introduced by Aurangzeb in the 17th century.

Attorney-General for India is the  first Law Officer of the Government of India. He is is the Indian government's chief legal advisor, and its primary lawyer in the Supreme Court of India.

The Solicitor General of India is below the Attorney General for India, who is the secondary law officer of the country, assists the Attorney General, and is himself assisted by several Additional Solicitors General of India.
