District cooling system is a well known and energy efficient technology adopted across the world. India's 1st district cooling system will come up in the green city Amaravathi, the capital city of Andhra Pradesh state.

District cooling system (DCS) distributes thermal energy in the form of chilled water from a central source to multiple buildings through a network of underground pipes for use in space cooling.
